As we wind down 2022, we thought it would be useful to look back at some numbers from the broader African Venture Capital industry for the first half of the year, as contained in the African Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (AVCA) Africa VC Report H1 2022 released in Q3 of this year.
As at the end of H1 2022, over US$3.5 bn had been raised by African startups / companies, at an average deal size of US$ 11 mil.
